A joint web/print promotion. The print piece had to reflect the user’s journey through the website. This was achieved by folding down each level of information, reflecting how a user would click on a weblink to move down each level on the site.


 

CIPD annual review 2003

The brief, ‘the bigger picture’, had a heavy emphasis
on a company move to new offices, but being a not-
for-profit who didn’t want to appear to be spending
money, I focused on the move from one location to
another by showing contour lines of the area and
suggesting an OS map in the shape and folding. The
process of physically unfolding the piece to get to the
financial information further enforced the theme.

CIPD gift book

When the CIPD built new offices, it was under strict environmental regulations and had local opposition from residents. I designed a book
for the building launch that promoted the CIPD in a memorable, amusing and friendly manner, not just as a dull list of corporate facts and figures.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

CIPD HRD exhibition

Exhibition graphics panels and brochure for the
largest UK HR exhibition. The brief asked for ways
to encourage more customers into the stand area.
This was achieved by making the images out of
words. People initially see the images from a distance
and have to move up close onto the stand to read
the information within the pictures.
